On days when it is raining, the water will drip down along the walls, leaving traces that gradually stain the surface, forming shapes and lines over long periods of time.

Inspired by complex personal emotions. The color gray represents noises in the mood, while white colors are spread across the work as an attempt to create a sense of peace. The two contrasting colors compose a scenery of complicated emotions.  The pink represents block And the works imitate marble texture.

I  prefer to paint less color over more color and why the working blue and purple color? Because when I was 2 years old lived the beautiful Monterey Peninsula that I lived in for 3 years. I always remembered my childhood being awfully quiet, maybe is that peacefulness that lets me focus on different things, like art.  Btw Monterey Peninsula so beautiful and ebb and flow let me feel peace atmosphere.

How does the work of a modern wall let me feel peace? I think the materiality of those buildings wall was so beautiful. Their austere presence makes me tranquil.

When I start to create paintings, the brutalist architectural wall is the most important element. I am particularly fond of walls of modern buildings when it is raining. The water drips down along the surfaces, leaving traces that gradually stain, forming shapes and lines over long periods of time. The concrete material is that symbol of the underclass. Soulless, gray, crumbling concrete structures.
